Shepherd Motors was set up in 1996 with a simple idea: do good work, charge fair prices, and treat customers the way we'd want to be treated ourselves. Three decades later — through the rise of plug-in hybrids, the wet belt era, and just about every diagnostic protocol going — that idea hasn't changed.
We're still in the same workshop, The Old Coachworks on Church Street, in the heart of Great Baddow. Customers we served in the 90s now bring their kids' cars in. New customers usually arrive on a recommendation. That's the bit we're proudest of.
We joined the Good Garage Scheme in 2007 because we wanted our customers to have a way to hold us accountable. Almost two decades and 1,843 verified reviews later, we're sitting at 97.4% — a number that means more to us than any marketing slogan.
